tips and hints
file preparation
- Take time in preparing your files to ensure a quick turnaround on your project.
- Please send us a one-up file with your page size as the finished flat size. We will imposition file for printing.
- Make sure that any document that prints right to the edge of the sheet has at least a 1/4" bleed with crop marks on all sides of the finished page size. Anything you want to print to the edge of the paper must be set up to bleed.
- Include all screen and printer fonts used in your file as well as in placed graphics.
- Save images as Tiff or EPS format. Scanned images should be at least 300 dpi at 100%.
- For Pantone (PMS) color work please specify colors in the file.
- For full color work, make sure all files are CMYK. Do not work in RGB mode.
- For filled solid black areas in full color documents define black as "Rich 4 Color Black" as C=40, M=40, Y=40, K=100.
- Native application files are preferred. However, if supplying a PDF please make sure that PDF file is distilled using above components.
